Webservice is a connector that triggers an iXPath session after receiving the files in a webservice configuration.

There is 2 parts in configuring of the webservice Listener:

• Configuring the Webservice in the ConfigurationCOM menu:

In order to use the WebserviceListener, you have first to configure it in the ConfigurationCOM menu in the portal. This configuration is unique to the environment, and cannot be reused in another environment.   

There are 4 parameters to configure for the WebService Listener:

• Active: it is a boolean value to determine if the listener is active.

• URI: The Server domain name or IP address to communicate with.

• Port: It means The port of listening.

• Asynchronous: A boolean variable that determine if the nature of the Webservice to be used.
